9/30/01 - A flock of Allderdice runners participate in the annual City of Pittsburgh Great Race. Sophomore Tom Jech wins the boys 13-15 age group for the 10k race.

9/29/01 - Senior Ian Wolfson runs a spectacular 15:40 (converted 5k: 16:11) and places ninth in the 3 mile McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, NY. Few finishing times are accurately recorded. More info soon. Check the McQuaid web site for the latest results postings.

9/25/01 - In their first full dress rehearsal for City Championships, the Dragons did not disappoint. Allderdice win their races at the City League meet today and show just how fast the new City course is. Seniors Jay Firestone and Adanna Scott, junior Matthew Meisel, and sophomores Torrie Caruso, Tom Jech, and Charley Monroe, and freshman Joe Rosenberg all run personal bests. More coming soon.

9/22/01 - Boys and girls varsity each take 2nd place at the Uniontown Invitational in Uniontown, Pa, which is the boys' best finish there ever. Senior Ian Wolfson places second in the boys varsity race for the second straight year, and senior Adanna Scott wins the girls junior varisty race. Additionally, seniors Emily Dziubek and Peter Kerpedjiev, juniors Edwin Uber, and Molly Ainsman, and sophomores Noor Dughri, Tom Jech, and Charley Monroe each place in the top 10 of their respective races. 9/20/01 - Allderdice preps for Uniontown Invite with City League meet at the Schenley Oval.

9/15/01 - Senior Ian Wolfson placed eleventh and junior Molly Ainsman eighth in the 14th annual Spartan Invitational, one of the premier races in the tri-state area. READ MORE...

9/13/01 - A combined varisty/junior varisty team wins the first City League meet on the new course at Schenley Oval. Top boys finishers are seniors Ian Wolfson, Jay Firestone, and Eric Silverman, junior Edwin Uber, sophomore Tom Jech, and freshman Joe Rosenberg.

9/8/01 - The Dragons compete in the California University Invitational in California, Pa. Senior Ian Wolfson and juniors Molly Ainsman and Erica Pasciullo led the varsity boys and girls to seventh place finishes. Complete race results at runhigh.com. More information coming soon.
